Why I chose Wilberforce...

  I chose to attend Wilberforce University because of its rich history and legacy in the African American community, though another reason is to become completely independent. I believe that Wilberforce can transform me into an assertive woman. Attending one of the first historically black private universities, is much more than big opportunities. I as a student I feel more comfortable, for the reason being that the classes are smaller and the professors know who the students are.
