Who makes a better leader, someone who is loved or someone who is feared?

"Who makes a better leader, someone who is loved or someone who is feared?"
Honestly I believe someone who is feared, is most likely to be obeyed by anyone. Though, I do not take it that the follower have respect for their leader. But I believe everything is based on your up bringing. Some parents are very strict, and also loving. Than again someone who is feared tend to be much more stern on how they want things to be done. When feared their desicions are taken more seriously, and more likely to be accomplished. But once again being feared should be avoided, being feared is something you would not want to encounter. Being feared can bring dishonesty and sometimes violence. Being lenient sometimes can get you no where, no one will take you seriously. Most of our leader in history, has conqured  and over came, but had horrible endings

FaceBook: The benefits & Dangers

On FaceBook I have about 200+ friends. I know majority of them, the rest are mutual friends from family members. The benefits of Facebook is that you are able to socialize with people from your past. Whether it's from grade school to college. But also even people in your present. In college networking is just as important. And Facebook can be one of your alternatives to calling or texting someone. Advertising and promoting business  is also a benefit. Facebook is highly national, there are over a million users across the country. Though; things do get just little rowdy on Facebook. Such as cyber bullying. Believe or not, but there are a lot of people who are victims of aggression on social networks like Facebook. But lets not forget job screenings. Sometimes people tend to put their personal business on Facebook not thinking that it wouldn't back fire on them. Today jobs are judging based on what you put on Facebook. Do I think it's fair? Not at all.But as young adults we have to be more cautious on what we post on Facebook.

Why I chose Wilberforce...

I chose to attend Wilberforce University because of its rich history and legacy in the African American community, though another reason is to become completely independent. I believe that Wilberforce can transform me into an assertive woman. Attending one of the first historically black private universities, is much more than big opportunities. I as a student I feel more comfortable, for the reason being that the classes are smaller and the professors know who the students are.
